In the early 1960’s Jerry established his own publicity
firm specializing in motion picture production and release
publicity as well as representing personalities. His leap
into the spotlight came when he introduced the
Beatles to the United States
handling the promotion of “Hard Day’s
Night” and “Help”
as well as their Los Angeles concerts.
In the 70’s, Jerry and Richard Guttman became partners with
the Guttman and Pam Ltd. organization in which he became
president. He continued to represent TV and screen
personalities which included Michael Caine,
Roger Moore,
Jaclyn Smith and
Robert Stack as well as such writers as
Sidney Sheldon,
Jackie Collins,
Judith Krantz and
Morris
West. He also represented such corporations as
Faberge,
